Forgotten 

​Nothing. Not even one. 

No memory did he have of her.

It hurt

But she knew it wasn’t a game. 

how was she to begin understanding it

That the only man she’d loved

And was strong enough to love her back 

Didn’t remember a thing about her

Or the tinniest bit of life they shared. 

Gone as though twas written in the wind

Swept away by the ocean waters from the shore

Life. Twas a mystery 

And this time a so painful one

Unfair too

They were too young for this.
