Daily Prompts: Glitter

A glow in her eyes

Broad smile she wore

Radiating joy her friends envied

She wasn’t gold

She just knew a way

To make her filth glitter.

An untold story laid with her

She hated it

Every single reason

That stood in the way of her

She hated you belonged to someone else

She hated it that you didn’t want her

But even deeper

She hated herself

For not being able to let go

For loving you so much she drowned

For being paralyzed when she thought of you

Every reaction of her when she missed you

She hated it

Day and night torture she lived

Your memory and loneliness

Were her companions

Driving her crazy

Why couldn’t she just forget You?
