How could one be so wrong at love?

Looking at the mirror

All she saw

Was the worthlessness he painted her to be

Fresh bright and permanent it seemed

She grew tired of trying

To wipe it off

Change who she saw

Imprinted in her mind

And the piercing within her of her broken pieces

Kept her alive

Relieving each time

Who she was to him

 WORTHLESS.
